With the coronavirus situation, what is the best way to get out accurate information and spread awareness?
I just think social media is built for times like this to communicate with your clients. If you’re not communicating with them over social media like Twitter or Facebook then you are behind everyone else. It’s important to communicate with your customers to build that connection, even if we might not all be taking drastic action. Just sharing that you have concerns and plans in place and communicating that with your clients is a great opportunity to build the relationship, even during a time like this which is not ideal.
What is the best way to release this information? How important is video?
There are so many different ways of communication. Some people consume their media via Twitter, some use Instagram. You have to find and craft the right message. Make sure you deploy it to the right audience and then go from there.
Oftentimes, they’ll have their own private channels on things like YouTube making them easier to find which is helpful.
I think video is still really important because of how different people take in information. With video, you can see expressions and reactions. You can’t get that through 140 characters on Twitter.
